Many people tell lies. Some are bigger than others, some are more serious, and some are just tiny fibs that don’t matter much. I never really lie, or I try not to. However, sometimes people feel the need to lie to get away with doing an act that you knew was wrong in the first place. Back when I was a junior in high school, I started to become somewhat rebellious. I wanted to have fun while I was still enjoying my high school years, and I wanted to get away with as much as possible. One good friend of mine decided to have a party while her parents were away, and I was so excited to go. All my friends were going to be there, and I thought we would have the time of our lives and finally be able to live out the kind of high school experience that you see in movies. A big house party, no parents, and getting into all sorts of trouble. I told my mom that I was going to see a movie, and she believed it. I rushed over to my friend’s house and there were already a lot of people there. As the night went on, and more beers were finished, the party had grown immensley. Underclassmen, seniors, even some guys who graduated already showed up. It was so much fun, but there’s always a consequence. Around 1 AM, someone looked out the window and screamed “COPS!”. In a matter of seconds, everyone was running around the house, hiding in closets, throwing beer in the bathtubs, jumping out windows…it was utter chaos, but it was exciting. I felt bad for my friend, so I went with her to talk to the officers. They wanted everyone to leave, and I didn’t have a ride, so they decided to drive me home…how wonderful. I thought I was going to be killed when my mother saw me pull up to my house in a cop car. But luck was on my side, and she was fast asleep. The next morning she asked how my night was, and I told her that the movie was great. She never found out about the party, and I was free. My friends were all grounded for a while, of course, but after that night I mastered the art of sneaking out and getting away with the high school things that you’d never want your parents to know about.

Just days after they debuted “Welcome to the Black Parade” above the New York skyline at the Video Music Awards, My Chemical Romance canceled two shows over the weekend when drummer Bob Bryar was hospitalized because of complications from an injury sustained last month while filming a music video.

I’m just happy I got to see My Chemical Romance in concert before they had to cancel shows. It was a great performance, and I saw it with two of my good friends during my senior year.

i’m sitting in my english class right now and i have no idea what to write about. this is my first blog, although when i was a freshman in high school i did have a “deadjournal”, but i didn’t use it very much. in fact, the only reason why i created a deadjournal for myself was because my friend samantha told me that the cool thing to do was have an online journal…but it just got me into trouble. so here i am, with another blog.
